The wood surrounds and doors are original from when the house was built over 100 years ago, adding to the authentic and nostalgic atmosphere.

A beautiful cottage presented spotlessly clean. The owner provided milk, fresh orange juice, strawberry jam and the most delicious loaf all enjoyed by us both. After a power cut the heating didn't work properly but joann came to the rescue very quickly and resolved the matter. The cottage itself had all mod cons and comfy warm beds. It provided the perfect accommodation for a restful week.

What a stunning cottage in a beautiful village. Spotlessly clean and exceeded our expectations. Extremely well equipped and comfortable beds. We particularly appreciated two equal sized king bedrooms which is ideal for two couples sharing. No one draws the short straw for a small twin room. The decor is so tasteful and welcoming. The hosts were friendly and easy to contact with the right level of contact to check all was ok, a bird watchers paradise from the harbour or the beach which is easily reached via the golf course. Probably the best holiday accommodation we have been to. We would definitely return

The owner of the cottage (Joann) was excellent. Nothing was too much bother for her. She is a very friendly lady and very easy to talk to. You can see that she has put a lot of thought and love into everything in the cottage. It was lovely to come back to the cosy cottage after being out in the Scottish weather. A first class retreat.
