For those looking for a more active break, the area provides for walkers, golfers, cyclists, those wanting to fish and more. Accommodating a group of four, the apartment is nestled between the two picturesque beaches of Banff Links and Salmon Howie, and has stunning sea, beach and marina views. On-street parking welcomes you upon arrival, before you make your way upstairs to this fabulous base. Additional off-road parking can be found to the left of the building. Head inside the apartment to find an amply equipped kitchen/diner, comprising all the handy appliances of an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher and is where the aspiring chef of the group can make delectable meals for all to enjoy. These meals can be taken through to the spacious, open plan living/dining room, where a glass dining table seats the whole family allowing you to settle down and enjoy delicious meals as you discuss the day’s events. After your meals, why not venture through the large patio doors which open onto a balcony where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the North Sea, the beach and the neighbouring town of Macduff. Known as the ‘dolphin coast’, the waters around Banffshire and Moray are home to a pod of over 190 bottlenose dolphins and it is quite common to see them frolicking in the bay directly behind the marina wall and in full view of the balcony. Keep an eye out for them. Alternatively, you can kick back and relax on the sumptuous seating available in the sitting area and watch a show on the TV. As the day draws to a close, catch your rest in one of two tastefully furnished double bedrooms, the first of which enjoys further sea views over the marina and both bedrooms feature handy storage for your belongings. The shower room is close by and enjoys a contemporary, slate detailing, spacious, walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, basin and WC. Get to know your surroundings and embark on a short walk into the centre of this pretty coastal town where you will find an assortment of shops, public houses and restaurants. The town also boasts the historic delight of Duff House and its esteemed golf club. Travel across the A98 to find the town of Macduff, a picture-postcard location boasting access to the Macduff Marine Aquarium, which houses a variety of marine life including sharks, stingrays, octopuses, and sea turtles. It too boasts its own revered golf club; Royal Tarlair. For even more coastal delights, venture west to Cullen, where another beautiful beach, more golfing, along with the renowned trails of Nelson's Seat and the Portknockie Cliff Path await. Do not leave Cullen without visiting the quaint ice cream shop and tasting its’ famous and delicious ‘Cullen Ice Cream’. There is still so much waiting to be seen, in the wider region, from Fraserburgh to Inverness; there is rarely little to do here!
