When night falls, progress upstairs to discover two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one being a king-size that benefits from built-in storage and access to a walk-in wardrobe, and the other being a triple room that is ideal for the kids. Both bedrooms enjoy access to a contemporary shower room that has been tiled floor-to-ceiling and contains a glass, walk-in shower. The surrounding area is truly stunning and provides you with many outdoors activities to do, including embarking on a hike through the Camlough Mountains, exploring the ruins of Ballymacdermot Court Tomb, taking in the scenery at the Bernish Viewpoint, and visiting Camlough Lake for a spot of kayaking. Venture north to Camlough where you can find your amenities, including the popular Camocha restaurant, and a well-stocked convenience store; travel a small distance from the village to discover the delights of Derrymore House and the Derrymore Woods Play Area. Newry isn't far and is home to a fantastic selection of eateries where you can grab a tasty bite to eat, followed by a spot of retail therapy at The Quays and The Buttercrane, as well as a superb Go-Kart Track and Formula Karting for thrill seekers. Delve into the local history with a visit to the stunning Newry Cathedral or make a stop at Bagenal’s Castle which houses a small museum detailing local history through artifacts. Continue south from Newry, and you will find yourself in Warren Point and Rostrevor, where you can play golf at the local club or venture into the close-by Rostrevor Forest and the Silent Valley Mountain Park. For a day by the coast, be sure to venture to Newcastle where a plethora of beachfront amusements await, along with the Murlough National Nature Reserve; or explore the stunning close-by sights, from Slieve Gullion to the Carlingford to Omeath Greenway.
