Our pods are set on a hill top site of this family-owned 17th-century castle with amazing views of the ocean. It’s a lovely place to stay, with friendly staff on-site. The castle is home to Randal, Viscount Dunluce, son of the 14th Earl of Antrim and his family.

The team at Glenarm Castle will look after you during your stay. Glenarm Castle opened in July 2019 with amazing ocean views, but also overlooking the castle estate. With self-check-in/out you are safe, secure, but can create your own holiday experience. BBQ and camp fire pack are recommended.

As per our precautions the host will have everything set up for before your arrival and will only come on site if required.

These unique holiday pods offer the perfect rural getaway along the Causeway Coastal Route. They're cosy, fully furnished and have all the comforts of home including electric, running water, mini fridge and heating. Plus, they're located with ocean views and looking across our stunning estate.

The pod set up is for 2 adults and 2 kids with a double bed and bunk beds suitable for 15 years and under (under 5ft5). Open all year round, it is a minimum 2 night stay in July and August.

Just a meander from the coast, you’re within reach of spectacular scenery and attractions. Drive to Dunluce Castle, sandy beaches, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the Giant’s Causeway, and whiskey distilleries.

Explore all that the estate and the area has to offer with an overnight stay in one of our pods situated on a hill top site. Each pod features an expansive glazed entrance, coffee dock, shower room, and somewhere to sit and relax.

Pods include a comfy double bed and hotel-quality bed-linen included, plus integrated bunkbeds tucked away, ideal for tweens or teens. Wi-Fi comes as standard, as do slots to charge phones and laptops.

There’s plenty to do at Glenarm Castle, from strolling in the castle’s walled garden (with antique shop and artist gallery), woodlands and grassy grounds, to visiting the on-site Byre Shop and Tea Room. Granny Shaws Fudge Factory, or fishing on Glenarm River or in July the family friendly Dalriada Festival.

You’re also walking distance from the coast, and right on the unspoiled Causeway Coast Route – Dunluce Castle, Glenarm beach, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the Giant’s Causeway, Glenariff Forest Park and Game of Thrones filming locations. There are also plenty of golf courses/events close by.

The Estate is nestled in the little harbour village of Glenarm dating back to Norman Times. The Glenarm marina with its fully restored harbour and pier, native wildlife and craft shops has a little something for everyone.
