There was no welcome hamper upon arrival, after a long drive we were in need of a cup of tea but the cupboards were bare. I had to telephone Rural Retreats to get that provided and when a hamper of sorts did arrive it was not up to standard. Very cheap teabags & instant coffee & digestive biscuits, no cheese. No complimentary toiletries only a (used) liquid soap dispenser, not very hygienic in these Covid times so did not use it. The cottage generally was comfortable but not up to Rural Retreats standard; broken drawers in kitchen, boiler casing hanging off and a very greasy frying pan in the cupboard that had not been cleaned from previous use, it was terrible and we took it to the office to show them and were given a clean replacement. Would not go back.
