Completing the space is the dining area, fit for enjoying a home-cooked meal or just planning an adventurous day. From here, the family bathroom has a shower over the bath for a quick freshen up, along with a bathtub for soaking your muscles. When sleep calls, all three bedrooms are furnished with a magnificent king-size bed where you can catch your rest, along with an additional double sofa bed in the sitting room; the first bedroom is on the ground floor and has an en-suite shower room, providing you with a relaxing morning getting ready in style, while the second- and third-bedrooms rests on the first floor. Finishing off the interior is the utility room, fitted with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, so you can keep your clothes and towels fresh throughout your stay. Outside, the property has a beautiful garden with a lush lawn and a patio for outdoor dining; dine alfresco in the warmer months while you take in the expansive views from this elevated position. Venture into the local town, Ballycastle, for a meal out with loved ones, where there's a good variety of eateries and pubs to choose from, as well as shops to stock up on ingredients to cook at home. For a day out, step back in time to the days of the Vikings and the Normans at Kinbane Castle, survey the coastline from the Bonamargy Friary, golfers can tee off at the Ballycastle Golf Club, or you can immerse yourself in the history of Ballycastle at the Ballycastle Museum. For a peaceful walk and a picnic, why not make your way to The Dark Hedges, an 18th-century avenue lined with intertwined beech trees, making for an idyllic wander. If you prefer time by the seaside, follow the coast and stop off at the quaint harbours, Portbradden and Ballintoy, before settling at Giant's Causeway, a picture-perfect nature reserve the whole family can enjoy. Make memories with loved ones at Lamb Cottage.

The Sunday Times ranked Ballycastle the greatest location to live in Northern Ireland in 2016. On a clear day, you can see Scotland's Mull of Kintyre and Rathlin Island from Antrim. - This is the only property we have stayed in which has no instructions for heating controls, appliances, or recycling arrangements. A simple one page paper, or online guide, would be extremely helpful. - A small waste bin is needed in the bathroom. - windows need cleaning These small improvements would make a great stay exceptional!

But unfortunately 2 weeks before our holiday I got bad news, cancer, and I am terminally ill, with only a short time left. I was determined to get this last holiday with my husband and his dad. The house is absolutely amazing. We all enjoyed our stay. The steps I could manage as it was only a few. The ground floor accommodation was very necessary for me. I have family and friends in the area and they came to visit me. Everyone loved the cottage. It’s perfect. We didn’t go out a lot, just enjoyed this amazing cottage. I would be back tomorrow. I had the most beautiful holiday ever. Thank you.

Everything you needed was there. We had several evenings playing all the various games with our autistic grandson who made the downstairs snug his own space perfect. We went to Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede bridge, the Dark Hedges, Murlough bay, Rathlin Island and to Games of Thrones Studios. We will go back. We had delicious steak pies from Mckays butchers in Ballycastle, lovely local shops.
