Baronscourt, home of the Duke of Abercorn's family since 1612, is located in the west of County Tyrone, the largest county in Northern Ireland. The Estate is set in spectacular countryside and guests will have the opportunity to walk around the lakes and woodlands.

We offer a choice of two properties: The Clock Tower is over and to the left of the entrance to the Stable Yard in the centre of the Baronscourt Estate. The outlook to the east is over unspoilt parkland and the west overlooks the courtyard. The Governor's Lodge is adjacent to The Clock Tower and also has an east facing outlook over parkland.

Golfers can enjoy concessionary golf on the 18-hole Newtownstewart Golf Course that forms part of the Estate.

Baronscourt Estate offers specialised driven woodcock shooting during the winter months, rough shooting, two private beats to let on the River Mourne for spring salmon, summer grilse and autumn salmon fishing as well as pike fishing.

There are 12 varied walking routes provided for guests use and numerous forest trails and routes for mountain bikes in the area.

With its sparse highlands and lush river valleys, the Sperrins have a special charm, especially for walkers.
