This charming cottage is approached down a private lane, from the peaceful village of Fangfoss, onto the owner s farm. One of four lovingly furnished former farm buildings, steeped in family history, it provides the perfect Yorkshire break at the foot of The Wolds. The Yorkshire Wolds scenery is breath taking, with rolling chalk hills and valleys, situated south of the Yorkshire moors, perfect for picnics, walkers and cyclists and was a favourite with the famous artist David Hockney too. Only 10 miles from the historic city of York where attractions such as York Dungeons, Jorvik Viking centre, National Railway museum, the city walls, ghost walks, the Shambles, river cruises and much more can be found. The large living area provides a great space for the family to get together after a day exploring. The property is all on the ground floor, providing an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, including a double electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The dining table seats six guests and is worktop height. Seating is on four padded wooden stools, plus two unique tractor seat stools. This area leads onto the large living area with plush sofas and chairs, some reclining. This also features an oak floor, smart TV, and electric fire. The luxurious master bedroom features a king size four poster bed and beautiful freestanding bath, perfect for a spot of 'me time', an en suite bathroom and TV. The second bedroom is a pretty, king size bedroom, again with freestanding bath and en suite bathroom. The third bedroom features a super king size bed, dressing area and en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. This room can alternatively be made up as a twin room, if this suits your friends or family better, providing the owner knows well ahead of your stay. The spacious patio is perfectly positioned at the front of the property, with pretty pergola and outside dining area. You'll find a fantastic, shared games room with 7' pool/snooker table, air hockey, football table and full size table tennis table Need to know: Bedroom 1 King size four poster bed with dressing area, freestanding bath, and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 King size bed with freestanding bath, dressing area and en suite bathroom.. Bedroom 3 Super king size bed with dressing area and en suite bathroom. This bed can be made into a twin if needed. However, it is important that this is requested with the owner in advance of your holiday dates..
