The cottage is very comfortable and situated in a relaxed village. Lovely views from the lounge and bedroom. 15 minutes walk from the nearest train station with good conections to York and Harrogate. The kitchen is well equiped and the bathroom has a great shower. The lounge and dinning area are spacious with a large television. A new sofa has replaced the one shown on the website. Large bedroom, great storage space, comfortable bed, seating area and a second television. I would happily stay at the cottage again.

We loved our stay at Valentines Cottage! It is in a peaceful setting, but so handy for getting to York and other places of interest. We used Poppleton P & R which was only 10 minutes away. The cottage is so cosy, spacious and beautifully furnished, and is very well equipped. The owners have thought of everything. We loved seeing the horses in the paddock right outside our window, too! We will definitely be back!
