Enjoyed our stay at Valentine's Cottage but it could have been improved as follows:Very disappointed to find there was no WiFi available the whole time we were there. We would have booked a cottage elsewhere if we had known this.Coffee machine is a Delonghi Nespresso - bring own pods.Bring own dishwasher tablets as none supplied.There is now a Teapot at Valentine's Cottage - Tilly provided a new Teapot which is great.No Welcome Pack - would have appreciated a few items, including a small bottle of semi-skimmed milk and some biscuits.An Information File is needed in the cottage - giving local information, appliance information and some information about the Equestrian side of the business - (Not everyone uses Facebook). It would be useful to know if you are allowed to walk around the site and look at the horses, or not.Directions: From A59 turn into Station Road alongside Bensons Furniture Shop and Home Farm Equestrian centre is about a mile further along on your left hand side. Look for 2 sloping brick walls on the left which are the entrance.Note: There are 2 Station Roads from the A59, fairly close together. Only turn at the Furniture Shop Station Road - this passes Kirk Hammerton Station and not the other Station Road which passes Cattal Station - otherwise you may be lost, like we were.

We had an excellent stay and loved the cottage. Shame the wifi was not working. Would have been good to have known what the "late" time was for when the automatic gate needed the code.

Comfortable and well equipped accommodation, ideally located for day trips to Harlow Carr, Harrogate, York, Knaresborough, Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey etc.We also enjoyed seeing the friendly horses.
