The Waterfront Hotel in York is a centrally situated Grade II Listed property on the banks of the River Ouse.  Brimming with period charm and in a prime location, The Waterfront has a history dating back over 400 years.  Many rooms boast river views and York's many attractions from the Minster to Jorvik, the Coppergate Shopping Centre, Clifford's Tower and the Castle Museum are just a short walk away. Ideal for business or leisure, guest rooms include a choice of double or twin en-suites. The hotel also benefits from an in-house bar and an award-winning steak and seafood restaurant.

10 guest rooms, all with en-suite facilities containing baths and showers. Twin and double rooms are available at exceptional rates. Each room has its own unique style, full central heating and modern essentials including a TV and refreshment tray with tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is fully inclusive in booking price. Optional dining is within our award-winning onsite steak and seafood restaurant. 

The restaurant seats 60 and is open daily from 12.30pm to 2pm, 5.30pm to 10pm.  We serve our prime time menu until 6.30pm.  The restaurant is independent and has been serving up delicious cusine in York for over 10 years. Menu choice includes our large whole sea bass, king scallops, lobster thermador and our famed 'surf and turf' steak garnished with tiger prawns, a garlic sauce and mussels. Each dish comes with a variety of seasonal fresh vegetables.

We are directly alongside the river, just a short walk from York Station.  A choice of public car parks are nearby, and York is within a 40 mile drive of nearest airport Leeds Bradford.
