Our ever popular two-bedroom lodge, one double with TV and traditional oak canopy bed and one twin. Spacious, open-plan living area leading to all-weather decking with sunken outdoor hot tub. Great choice for a family or break with friends. Wi-Fi access.

Take in the night sky, star gazing from your outdoor hot tub to complete the relaxing experience. If you’re very lucky you may be visited by the resident badgers searching the forest for food, directly outside your lodge. Explore the walks, cycle paths, 18-hole golf course* and a coarse fishing lake*, all available on the Estate. Take a short walk to the friendly atmosphere of Tykes Restaurant, offering good food made from local produce or visit Sandburn Hall’s Sports Bar to watch the game and enjoy drinks or a bar meal. Residents receive 10% discount off food and drinks in both, and dogs are welcome inside or on the patios.

Griffon Forest welcomes dogs in allocated Lodges. If you wish to take your dog on holiday, please ensure you select this option and pay the pet fee otherwise you will not be able to stay in the accommodation with your pet. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per Lodge and they must not be left unattended.

For all bookings Griffon Forest asks for a £100 security deposit per Lodge – this by preauthorisation of a debit or credit card before arrival, or you may call the park beforehand.

If this is a same day booking, please call the park to make sure the booking can go ahead.

Bookings for more than one Lodge are at the discretion of the management.

Hot tubs are for the sole use of the persons staying in the Lodge

Smoking is not permitted in any of the accommodation at Griffon Forest

Current arrival times are between 4pm and 6pm. For arrivals after 6pm or any time on Sunday, please call the park in advance to arrange key collection.

Griffon Forest guests receive 10% discount on menu items and drinks in Tykes Restaurant and Sandburn Hall Sports Bar. It is strongly recommended to make a reservation for Tykes restaurant – 01904 469911. Clean, dry dogs are allowed in the Sports Bar, also at two allocated tables in Tykes. Food can be served on the patio areas, weather dependant.

Griffon Forest has a small off-licence and shop selling a few essentials. Adult cycle hire is available-please book in advance at Reception.

Please note if you're checking in on a Saturday check in is between 3pm and 5pm. The reception and shop close at 5pm.
