On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a study area where you can relax and read a book or, for the workaholics among us, catch up on some emails. A final flight of stairs leads to the second floor double bedroom with views over York from the Velux windows and low, sloping ceilings. Externally, the cottage enjoys a private walled courtyard with a seating area and charcoal BBQ. It is the ideal space to relax in the summer and enjoy a glass of wine al fresco. Please note there are low, sloping ceilings in the second floor bedroom and that due to the age of the property stairs are steep and narrow, there is also a step up and down to access the bathroom.
