Meadow Cottage, a single-storey barn conversion, sits on a charming working farm, three and a half miles from the stunning North Yorkshire market town of Kirkbymoorside. Boasting open-plan living with exposed beams and a woodburning stove, as well as displaying countryside views, this is a fabulous stay for friends and family to come and enjoy together. Note: The property can be booked with Refs. 974386, 974388, 974773 and 974385, together they sleep 18 people.
The market town of Kirkbymoorside is on the edge of the North York Moors, in between Helmsley and Pickering. It has variety of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants along with antique shops and a weekly market. The walking and scenery of the National Park are close by, as are the villages of Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham. Pickering's North York Moors Steam Railway is a must do while Castle Howard, York, Whitby and the Yorkshire Coast are within easy distance.

It had everything I needed for my holiday, including areas to walk my dog. It is positioned well for exploring the local area and there was so much to see and do. I will definitely be back.

Janet the owner was very kind and friendly. It was wonderful looking out of the picture window watching the field of sheep grazing. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed visiting nearby villages and small towns like Kirkby Moorside and Helmsley.
