Helmsley is a picturesque market town situated between Thirsk and Pickering. The property sits proudly as you enter the village a stones throw from the centre. There are cosy cafes, quaint tea rooms, and a great choice of pubs serving some great food. Helmsley is steeped inhistory and has its own 12th century castle, Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are close by. Helmsley also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, which is open during the summer. For those wishing to explore further by foot The Cleveland Way starts in Helmsley and North York Moors with their hidden dales and villages are pretty in all seasons. The magnificent City of York is 24 miles south and the scenic east coast is very accessible as is Pickering and the beginning of the famous steam railway line (North Yorkshire Moors Railway). Step up two steps into the dining area with double doors that lead out to the garden. Completing the ground floor is the first of the themed bedrooms, a double known as "The Hare Room" and a shower room with WC located off the lounge. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you will find the other two themed rooms, "The Stag Room", with a king size bed and "The Fox Room", with twin beds. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The rear garden is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or read a book or on those warm summer nights why not enjoy a BBQ with the family. There is dining furniture, a lockable bike store for three full sized bikes and a storage seat to store and keep muddy boots dry. On street parking available on a first come first serve basis. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 double and 1 twin. 1 shower room with WC, 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. One bathroom is off the loubge.
