Retire to one of the two tranquil and relaxing bedrooms; a superking-size and twin (or further superking if preferred), with the master boasting an en-suite shower room with quality fixtures and fittings, whilst the family bathroom provides an elegant bath so that you can have a relaxing soak at the end of a tiring day, or a shower for any early starts.

Due to the property's rural position, you are within reach of some scenic country lanes and trails for walking and cycling, with a plethora of wildlife to spot along the way. The charming market town of Pocklington is less than 10 minutes’ drive away, offering an interesting contrast with an array of shops, and places to eat and drink. The Ice Cream parlour is a must for the children, along with Burnby Hall and Gardens which offers delightful afternoon teas in a wonderful setting, while the children amuse themselves in the new play area. As a contrast, Allerthorpe Lakeland Park is also easy to reach, offering a number of fun water activities including canoeing, sailing and pedalloes.

With the beautiful city of York being only 11 miles away, it is a must for all visitors staying at the lodge. It offers a vast array of interesting places to see and fun things to do for all the family.
