Just back from a short stay at Cartwheel Cottage.I can highly recommend it. The hosts are available for friendly advice but not intrusive The cottage is a delight . Spotlessly clean , modern, with everything you need and more . The garden was a lovely suprise. No pictures on website, I was expecting a tiny concrete courtyard. We took our 6 month old puppy and needed somewhere safe and secure . The little garden was beautifully maintained with a table and chairs to sit outside with your morning cuppa. Lots of thought has gone into this cottage for your enjoyment. A very welcome basket with crisps and wine! Milk in the fridge, tea coffee . Towel for muddy paws and poop bags ... There was Nothing they haven't thought of. We did have a few issues with the internet connection when looking for places to visit/ directions etc. but that said it was an excellent choice and if we visit that area again, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Cartwheel Cottage. I have already recommended it to friends and family .Thank you Ruth and Andy. Your hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed

Lovely little cottage for a short break. Very peaceful, and a lovely view of the countryside from the sitting area. Nearby Pocklington is a traditional Yorkshire market town and well endowed with coffee shops!
