The Feversham is just moments from the heart of the beautiful city of York. This second floor studio apartment provides a cosy and peaceful retreat for exploring the city and beyond, together with secure bike storage and allocated off road parking. It is situated in a splendidly restored Georgian House, formerly the nurses quarters to the County Hospital which was built in 1903. The shared walled gardens have a stunning view of York Minster and the ancient city walls to enjoy. Feversham House has been converted into stylish apartments providing city living at its best. Beautifully decorated, this fully-equipped property offers everything you could possibly need, giving you the perfect choice for eating out or dining in. There is an abundance of history and culture on the doorstep, mouthwatering restaurants, boutique shopping and stunning green spaces which offer a perfect backdrop to the city. The iconic York Minster is only minutes away on foot and much of York's centre is pedestrianised making shopping an absolute pleasure, plus river walks, parks and boat trips abound. The Feversham is the perfect bolt hole for exploring the best of what York and Yorkshire has to offer.
The city of York needs no recommendation, for it teems with interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, museums (including the famous National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum), and the internationally-renowned Jorvik Viking Centre and its "time trip" experience.

Good facilities within the flat as advertised but don't bring a hairdryer as one is provided. Moreover a supermarket right behind the flat, here's a hint apply for a Sainsbury nectar card and save some cash. Host leaves a bottle of Prosecco, nice touch.

Everything we needed was there. There's not a lot you can do (apart from new windows but it's prob a listed building) but we found sitting on the couch our backs were cold due to the sash window, is it single glazed? Perhaps thermal curtains could be used in winter. Oh and the fan in bathroom was not working. But those small points did not detract us from having a great week in The Feversham, enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to stay again next December.
