There are many nearby Wolds market towns, Malton (12 miles), Beverley (25 miles) and Driffield (20 miles) which hold regular street markets, and have a wide variety of shops and restaurants, all providing excellent locally based cuisine, and the cathedral city of York is 10 miles. The unspoilt coastal resort of Filey is 35 miles with open beaches and the nearby rspb nature reserve at Bempton. The property is situated on the edge of the East Yorkshire Wolds, with superb walks from the doorstep, the Wolds Way is a particular attraction, which encompasses some breath taking scenery along the route.
