One of a row, it is just 300 yards from the beach and small harbour – reached via winding cobbled streets. It is set on the Heritage Coast in the North York Moors National Park with the extensive sandy beaches of Runswick Bay and Sandsend a short drive, and Whitby, 10 miles. North Yorkshire Moors steam railway nearby. Fishing, golf and riding available locally. Shop and pub 200 yards.

A unique and very pretty location which has the added benefit of improving your cardio vascular fitness. The cottage is very good value for money and I would definitely book again.

Great stay lovely cottage in a good location . Only slight issue is that the bed is creaky and hard so didn’t sleep well, would benefit from a new bed and could do with updating the decor upstairs esp bathroom as shower pressure very slow and hot tap water pressure is only a trickle
