Lovely cottage plenty of room well equipped all had good time including the dogs location is very quiet but nearest shops are good way away but overall would definitely recommend

Loved the lodge, in a lovely area, lovely hotel nearby which does really good food and also allows dogs. Runswick bay is beautiful but you have to be really fit to walk down and back up, we took the car down, still hard work but worth it. Whitby is 20 mins away, Helmsley and Pickering about 45 mins. All worth a visit.Please take your own kitchen spray, bin bags and dishwasher tablets but the lodge does provide a slow cooker.We had a problem with the tv, the owner quickly replaced it with a new one, very impressed. We have booked again already.

We had a lovely time at Beagle Lodge the lodge was very nice and it was a very peaceful place and the weather was very good the only downside was that if you wanted to go out for a meal or a drink you would have to drive a few miles and the same for shops having said that for anyone wanting a peaceful holiday I would say it was excellent and would go there again.
