Apartment 6 in Whitby is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location close to local amenities. Guests appreciate the quality furnishings, underfloor heating, and spaciousness. While parking can be challenging due to narrow streets, the property's quiet setting and proximity to the town centre are major draws. Some guests mention the warmth of the apartment and the lack of WiFi as minor drawbacks.
Reviews consistently mention the apartment's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and spotless. There is a single mention of mildew on windows and dusty blinds, but these appear to be isolated comments amidst overall positive feedback.
The location is highly regarded for its central proximity to Whitby's attractions, pubs, and stores. The uphill walk and parking difficulties are noted, but the convenience and quietness of the location are seen as significant advantages.
Guests find the apartment comfortable, with good quality furnishings and efficient underfloor heating. Some guests found the apartment too warm and the mattresses a bit lumpy, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.
The apartment's facilities are generally well-received, with a modern kitchen and superb bathroom. However, there are comments about wear and tear, difficulty operating the oven, and a lack of WiFi, which suggest room for improvement.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

However, soon noticed small things. Mould around the windows, internal doors that would not shut properly, uneven tiles on bathroom floor, air fresheners everywhere. The smell was overpowering. The lack of heating was the biggest problem, the whole apartment was so cold. There is a thermostat but not to be touched. It's not a bad place, clean and in good location, attention to small details would make a world of difference to the overall experience.

Hill to property but as you would expect in Whitby and not as steep as many. 3 small easy steps to property. Initially appeared clean and well maintained but windows had a lot of mild on edges and windowsills and lounge blinds had not been cleaned, very dusty. Kitchen well equipped but some items in cupboards required washing as felt sticky. Bathroom well equipped but silicon standards were shoddy and looked poor. Did smell musty at times even though large number of air fresheners which were overpowering and caused headaches for some. Would recommend as good price point and location. Owner was helpful and responsive.

Really big & spacious, bathroom fab. We did sleep but mattresses a bit lumpy, which wasn't a major problem. The last 50m to the property is very steep and hard work if you have mobility problems. Fantastic location, would definitely recommend and will be returning hopefully.
