After a day at the beach, unwind in the sitting room, getting comfortable on the sofa and searching for something good to watch on the TV. Joining this space is a dining table, providing the ideal spot for enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal, prepared in the amply equipped kitchen. We've stayed in 8+ properties in and around Whitby and Sail Away is now our go to as one of the very few places with a comfortable bed! The owners were very gracious and accommodating after a confusion with check out dates, which we were very grateful of. The only thing we'd say would make the stay 100% is a new shower in the ensuite. The current cubicle is very small and difficult to use if you struggle with mobility or feel closed in. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering going in the future.

Tea, coffee and sugar too! What a lovely touch. Its a well equipped spacious apartment. Everything you need in the kichen and spotlessly clean. Parking for 1 car which was so handy. 5 minute walk down to the main shops and eateries in Whitby. I would definitely stay again. I just wish we had met the owner to thank them. Thank you
