Set over three floors the welcoming ground floor has a contemporary well-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room and a cosy sitting room with woodburner. On the first floor there is a beautiful king-size double bedroom with lots of lovely sunshine streaming through the Georgian sash window, as well as a luxurious shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. On the second floor there is a twin bedroom (zip/link can be super king-size double on request) with the fabulous original feature fireplace. Also on this floor is a games room (the Den) which is perfect for children or teenagers to watch TV, play on the X box, listen to music, play board games or read and relax on the futon. Outside there is a fully enclosed quaint courtyard with furniture. This cottage is ideally situated; within just a short stroll you can enjoy a huge choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs. The North Bay, The South Bay, historic Old Town and Scarborough Castle are also on the doorstep. Why not wander down to the South Bay to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, the amusement arcades, traditional seafood stalls, the famous Harbour Bar ice-creams and of course some fish and chips from the many cafes and seafront takeaways. Come and discover the many other attractions in the immediate area, including the legendary Open Air Theatre, Peasholm Park, The Sealife Centre, Scarborough Cricket Ground, The Stephen Joseph Theatre and the amazing Alpamare Water Park with its enormous wave pool and stunning heated outdoor infinity pool overlooking the bay! A little further afield you may wish to explore the stunning North York Moors, rural villages with traditional inns, the many miles of cycle paths and footpaths including the magnificent Cleveland Way. Further up the coast Whitby, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood's Bay are just perfect for nostalgic pastimes such as rock pooling and building sandcastles. Visitors to this delightful coastline will be captivated by the beautiful sandy beaches - once visited you will want to return time and time again.

Popular since Victorian times, the vibrant seaside town of Scarborough retains many of its original fine buildings, parks and gardens, as well as its historic castle which overlooks the town.
