Within walking distance there are restaurants, wine bars, pubs and shops as well as the Italian Gardens. The apartment is just around the corner from a hotel where you can relax in the spa, use the gym or have a swim (payable to the hotel). From the apartment you can walk down to the beach or catch the cliff tram, the first funicular railway, built in the UK in 1865.

The Marine Drive stretches for over 3 miles along the seafront. This is also part of the Cleveland Way walk that carries on down the coast finishing in Filey. Scarborough boasts two very famous theatres: The Stephen Joseph Theatre, which is home to most of Alan Ayckbourn’s premiéres, and the open air theatre, which is one of the largest open air theatres in Europe. The Haven is a great base to visit the East Coast with Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby to the north and Filey and Flamborough Head to the south. The rspb bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just a short drive away where you can watch the puffins perched on the cliffs.

The medieval city of York is just an hour’s drive away or you can catch the direct train from Scarborough. Don’t miss York out during your stay as it’s voted in the top 10 cities to visit year on year. With its fantastic history, wonderful museums and the beautiful minster, it never fails to impress its visitors. Beach 601 yards. Shop 328 yards, pub 273 yards and restaurant 382 yards.

One 3h-Parking-Disc and additional whole day parking scratch cards provided for your whole stay (the owner will leave the disc & scratch cards on the kitchen's island).
- On the day of arrival use the Parking Disc.

The Parking Disc allows you to park for 3 hours which will take you to 5pm when parking is free until 9am the next day.

- Make the next morning hassle free and fill out the scratch card for the next day. Put it in the car's front windscreen together with the Parking Disc used on arrival day.

Parking for additional car: There is unlimited public parking where no disc or scratch card is required. Just drive along Esplanade (two blocks to the south; see street signs).
