We like the location & normally love this nice little apartment. However we did have some issues this time. Mainly concerning the bathrooms. It looks like they have been refurbished recently. In the en suite bathroom the floor was quite dirty with dust around the skirting boards, a few long black hairs & a wall plug on the floor. Also for some reason there was no mirror in either bathroom. This made getting ready/shaving etc. very awkward & was quite inconvenient. The new shower however was lovely. The rest of the apartment was clean enough & the kitchen well equipped although a tea towel would have been handy. The double bed was firm but comfortable although the quilt didn't seem big enough! When we arrived the apartment was icy cold. The heating wouldn't come on then we realised the boiler pressure had gone below one. We sorted this & got heating but it took ages to warm the place up. All in all we enjoyed our stay & would probably return if mirrors were installed in the bathrooms!

Both showers are a nightmare to use as the clips that hold them are broken. Also, no splash back in the kitchen has led to someone covering the wall with grease marks which looks awful. Cushions on sofa are a bit grubby and the windows in the bedrooms need some privacy frosting applied as you can not open the blinds at all. These jobs are all inexpensive but need doing. In addition, the bin area is not the easiest to navigate and maybe some instructions should be left to help people work out where they are. A TV in the master bedroom would also be a good idea, as this flat is great for four people but only one tv and no dressing tables, even though the bedrooms are huge.

Handy for the shops at Ramshill and the seafront and only a short walk into town. Bed was very comfortable but both shower heads need fixing as neither of them would stay up and kept slipping down. We had no hot water on arrival but the owner sorted it out very quickly. We enjoyed our short break in Scarborough and in Seaside Breeze.
