The cleaners had not cleaned properly, it was dusty eg. Dining table, some bedroom cabinets, top floor bath. Outside the rear of the property was disgusting. We could see a burnt couch, rubbish bins everywere on the fire escape entrance, the indian takeaway rear was disgusting too. The car park permit was not there. We had to pay parking until this was sorted out. There was no welcome basket at all, although the next day, one was left on the fire escape platform in the rain. The low celing beams caused a few bumps and bangs on our heads they are really low!!!! We didn't know this before booking. The property is not suitible for very young children with puschairs. You have to climb and carry the puschairs and children up three flights of stairs every time you enter and exit. The beds were really comftable, probably the best I have stayed in. The furniture was lovely too. The upstairs bedrooms- you entered through low beams and small triangle doors, you have to crouch to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall I found this a very disapointing stay and this was not what we expected. I have given it a fair rating, as the apartment had some lovely features.

It was well equipped and the location was excellent, in the old town, close to the town and beach. We found the instructions to access the property and to park the car confusing. It is unclear, as it suggests that the key box is by the front door, not at the rear. We also assumed that the rear car park was the one we had a pass for, but we then had to drive to the ncp car park via a one way system. However we loved the flat and had a great holiday.
