Throughout the town, you will be spoilt for choice for things to do, from the historic delights of Scarborough Castle and the picturesque Peasholm Park to the good selection of sandy beaches and the attractions of Alpamare and Luna Park. There is also the popular Scarborough Open Air Theatre, set in the middle of a lake, which hosts live performances. From the town, keen walkers can access the renowned Cleveland Way which offers some of the best sights and scenery in the area. There is also The Cinder Track for a more leisurely walk, leading you to Whitby, where you can marvel at the Gothic Whitby Abbey, climb the 199 Steps with panoramic views at their top, test out your clubs at Whitby Golf Club or try and hook your catch of the day along West Pier.
