This semi-detached cottage is linked with the owner's farmhouse in the small village of Sawdon, close to both Scarborough and Pickering. Beautifully designed, your heart-warming retreat lies in a rural destination, laced in countryside views where the tranquil atmosphere follows you from room to room. Be welcomed by a lovely hallway, this divides off into a country cottage kitchen with its very own range cooker and homely fittings. There is a wonderful lounge/diner to be enjoyed morning across to evening, home to a collection of seating, with french doors opening up to the rear patio, bringing the panoramic views even closer. On a sunny day, choose from one of the books available, and simply relax outdoors away from it all. Two bedrooms lie on the first floor each elevated by an en-suite bathroom, whilst an additional room lies on the ground floor neighbored by a walk-in shower. Effortlessly styled with a range of furnishings and accessories, the layouts also benefit from dual aspect windows, and peaceful scenery which you can wake up to every morning. Sawdon has a pub called The Anvil, and walks can be enjoyed from the village. Close by is Brompton-by-Sawdon, which is a delightful country village on the edge of the Forge Valley, an area of outstanding countryside. This wonderfully scenic location, with its stone-built cottages is ideally placed for discovering the attractions, and the entire location is somewhat of a walker’s heaven. A little further afield the historic market town of Malton offers quaint shopping streets, a home away from home for you and your loved ones.
