Had a great stay, bed was very comfortable, slept soundly, better than most hotels I’ve stayed in.Hot tub was so relaxing, Nice quiet location, easy drive to Scarborough and Whitby. Pleasantly Surprised how big bathroom was. Great communication with Tristan, giving tips on where to go and eat.Would highly recommend

The site was overgrown with shoulder height weeds and in addition to the shepherd's hut had an unoccupied house, 3 filthy derelict caravans and an abandoned car.The hut was completely overshadowed by trees making it dark and depressing. The "front garden" consisted of a tiny area of pebbles and soil, no grass. We returned home the same day!

Grounds were severely overgrown and full of nettles. The sherpards hut has no storage, nowhere to put your clothes/ bags etc. Very cramped. The bed was extremely comfortable and towels and linens immaculate. The hot tub had unfortunately been set to 42 degrees and so was far to hot to go in. The doors to the hut are warped so difficult to lock, when we managed only the top locks were secured. Over all we were disappointed, for the price we paid we expected more. This could be an amazing little getaway with a bit of tlc and more thought for what a couple would need to be comfortable for a few days.
