Fabulous cottage, beautifully decorated. Lovely large garden perfect for the dog. and every bit of equipment and thought gone into this property. Welcome pack was lovely and milk & butter very welcome. All cleaning material supplied as well. Beds very comfy. Even items for the dog supplied, towels, poo bags, bowls. Only slight negative is the road but it’s not heavy traffic so not a problem. Perfect base for exploring. Would highly recommended.

Aysgarth Lodge is a beautiful, modern, open plan, bungalow style cottage. The fixtures and fittings were all very high spec, attention to detail was fantastic, everything you could think of needing was provided. Including a great welcome basket, with scones, cakes, bread and crisps. Even our little dog was catered for with a little jar of doggie treats. Milk and butter provided for in the fridge, even icecubes in the freezer. The big back garden kept our dog entertained and patio was a great place to eat breakfast. The hot tub spa was a great place to relax in the evening and cool down as we had very hot weather that weekend. The proximity to the east coast, makes the location ideal to explore from Whitby down to Scarborough and the village of Seamer had everything you could want, just 300 yards or so from the Cottage. Pub that allowed dogs in the bar and sold pub food, continental style cafe, selling pizza, a chippy and a local grocery store. We had a little trouble working the coffee machine and found the double bed to be a little soft for our taste, but honestly these were just very minor points. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, to anyone wanting a break in this part of the world and would deffinately come back.
