Locally, take the dog for a walk in the pretty Peasholm Park (0.5 miles), which has a beck running right through it. Take a scenic stroll or an open-top bus ride along the seafront for a leisurely morning out or take a ride on one of Britain’s oldest funicular cliff lifts (1 mile), which originally ran on seawater (though today it’s electricity that’ll get you up)! If you’re lucky during your stay, you may spot dolphins, seals and or porpoises in their natural habitat for a memorable experience.
