A wonderful unique property renovated sympathetically. The host, Vicky, was amazing, she welcomed us and gave us useful information regarding places to eat and things to do. The Old Folly was tastefully decorated and we loved the little touches, complimentary slippers and dressing gowns and a bottle of wine and biscuits. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a fabulous way to relax after a long day sightseeing. The bed was comfortable with pillows and a duvet to sink into and a skylight window to watch the stars as we fell asleep to the hoot of an owl and awakened to bird song. This little gem is just the place to recharge your batteries as well as being a great base for visiting the surrounding area. The train station is a short walk making travel to Filey, Scarborough, Beverly and York very easy and stress free.
