Cottage was excellent, left lots of basic needs from tea coffee, bin bags etc a great welcome, been before because we love the area and the opportunity to explore beautiful places around like Whitby etc

The lodge is part of a quiet development in the top village of Runswick Bay. We have stayed many times in the lower village before but this time we were with my 93 year old father who has some mobility issues so a lodge was more suitable for him. The showers were great and the lodge was warm and comfortable. The only things that let it down was that some of the crockery was chipped and the glasses and cutlery were a mix of mismatched items. There are many places to visit nearby and also several pubs if you don’t want to cook.
