Spectacular cliff top walks afford breathaking views of the rugged yet beautiful East Yorkshire coastline. Scarborough and Bridlington are nearby, and the rspb Bird Sanctuary with kittiwakes, guillemots, puffins and gannets, just 3 miles. York, just under an hour away by car, is worth a visit. Here guests can walk the city walls, visit the railway museum, the minster and shambles with its designer boutique shops. For those who enjoy the countryside, the North York Moors and Wolds are not too far away. The Cleveland Way and Wolds Way walks are a few minutes away.
