Guests say

Park View in Filey is praised for its excellent location, close to the beach and town, with a secure garden and ample parking. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfortable beds, and pet-friendly environment. While some minor maintenance issues and furniture arrangements are noted, the property's charm and convenience for exploring the North York Moors & Coast are consistently highlighted.

Reviews indicate a generally clean environment, though some guests noted areas for improvement. Comments about finding chewing gum and a dog's chew under furniture suggest occasional oversights in cleaning.

The property's location is highly praised for its proximity to the sea, shops, and local attractions. Its quiet setting and easy access to dog-friendly areas are particularly appreciated.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the garden a pleasant feature. However, some reviews mention issues with lounge furniture and suggest that the main bedroom is cramped.

Facilities are generally good, with positive mentions of the kitchen and Wi-Fi. Criticisms include missing DVD remote, broken bin lid, and suggestions for better kitchen equipment and furniture layout.

There is insufficient information regarding thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts, and therefore a score cannot be provided. No reviews mention gifts or special attention to guest comfort beyond the standard amenities.

Ample parking, a properly “enclosed” rear garden (small dogs!) just make sure you close the front gates securely and that the gardener doesn’t turn up unannounced! Our only issue was there is so much furniture in the lounge it was a bit of a squeeze for 2 adults and 2 teens. The main bedroom has a double bed that just about fits, meaning whoever sleeps next to the window opens and closes the curtains with their body if they need to get up and squeeze past. This room also had a damp smell there was visible mould creeping on the wall behind the bed. There was plenty to do on a rainy day though, books, games, Wii (no PlayStation unless it was hidden away somewhere) etc. When we first got in there was an alarm to switch off which wasn’t mentioned in any of the instructions. Sue was very helpful when I needed to ask anything.

Nice garden for my dogs and only a 5 / 10 minute walk to the beach. One of the best places I’ve stayed in.
