About this property

Prestella is a contemporary, three-bedroom house located in the North Yorkshire seaside community of Filey.

Prestella provides a well-equipped base for a family getaway, complete with a pet-friendly garden, stylish living area, and adaptable sleeping options; five people and two furry companions are invited.

The home is also conveniently located near the shoreline and a hub of amenities, providing a well-positioned abode for exploring the region.

Before entering your new home through the front garden, park your car off-road or use the additional roadside parking that is available.

Start out in the inviting sitting room, which has a contemporary media wall with a Smart TV and electric fireplace, where you can relax on the corner sofa while making plans for your coming days.

Enter the kitchen/diner, which is completely furnished to make your stay easier, where you can cook up delectable meals and dine as a five, or venture outside to the decked area, which is designed for alfresco settings; be impressed by the feature wall, which highlights Filey's beauty. There is also an outdoor dog shower to keep pets clean after a day of exploring the coast.

Choose between a king-size, twin (zip/link) and a single bedroom to catch some rest; each are well-appointed and have access to a sleek bathroom where you may relax with a lengthy soak or an energising shower.

When you're ready to start exploring, head to the town centre where you'll find a tonne of stores and restaurants to check out, including The Boat Shed, Filey Bistro & Coffee Bar, and San Marco Restaurant.

While you're there, make sure to stop by the Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park, practise your swing at Filey Golf Club, or hike through Filey Brigg Country Park to take in the stunning scenery of Filey beach.

Reach Scarborough and its shorefront of attractions, by following the coastline where you can explore the ruins of Scarborough Castle, see Peasholm Park, or take the Cleveland Way hiking track up to the North York Moors National Park.

Take a diversion to the south to experience Bridlington's attractions, including the RSPB Bempton Cliffs, the Bridlington Sea Front, and Sewerby Hall & Gardens, all offering family-friendly days out, before returning home for supper. Enjoy a memorable stay at Prestella.

Filey, located in the stunning Filey Bay, is a classic English seaside town with a welcoming environment that offers a relaxing vacation and is the perfect spot to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers throughout the year. A low headland that guards Filey Bay, Filey Brigg offers excellent year-round opportunities for marine and bird watching. Some 250,000 seabirds spend the summer at the 400-foot-tall Bempton Cliffs (rspb Reserve) south of Filey Bay. With its unique stores, winding lanes, and ginnels, the town has maintained much of its charm. There is also a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, as well as charming beach huts that can be rented during the summer.

Parking a bonus (we parked at the front in lay-by, as we were unsure how to access the back of the property- we eventually sussed it when we went inside). 10 minute walk from town, on bus route for Scarborough and Bridlington. I would definitely stay here again.

Ideally located to access Filey on foot- about a 15 min walk- so no worry finding and paying car parking! Very warm and cozy. Pretty much provides everything you need, plus plenty of extras. All items and fittings to a high quality. Lovely welcoming gifts. Would definitely use again and recommend.

It has everything you could want. Very high standard of facilities. Clean and tidy. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. We had a lovely week, we were very comfortable. We had a small problem with the garden gate which was sorted by the owner within a couple of hours of reporting it to Sykes.
