Filey 3 miles. An attractive, mews-style mid-terrace property, in The Bay holiday village, three miles from the seaside town of Filey. With four generous bedrooms, this modern Filey cottage is perfect for family groups to get together and enjoy the extensive on-site leisure facilities in a lovely environment. Light and airy, this Filey cottage offers an L-shaped open plan living area with a well-equipped modern kitchen and comfortable sitting area. French doors open onto a small rear patio, whilst one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, ideal for the less able. This cottage near Filey is surrounded by communal lawned grounds, ornamental lakes and picnic areas, whilst on the complex itself is an excellent indoor swimming pool with a sauna, steam room and gym. Guests at this Filey cottage are able to play tennis and book scuba diving lessons, whilst a pleasant walk brings you to a Blue Flag sandy beach that stretches for miles. The traditional resort of Filey offers pretty gardens, two fine promenades and quaint shops and streets. Why not enjoy a pony ride on the beach or hire one of the brightly painted beach huts? With rock pools to discover and ice creams and candy floss, the younger generation won't be disappointed! The surrounding area offers the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, dramatic chalk cliffs at Flamborough Head and a wonderful RSPB bird sanctuary at nearby Bempton. A well-placed Filey cottage with something for everyone.
The Bay near Filey is an attractive modern development with an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Other facilities include tennis courts, fishing and a putting green. A coffee shop and pub serving food offer refreshment, and for family fun, the sandy beach is on the doorstep. The Bay makes a great holiday base.
