In the quiet village of Rosedale Abbey are several converted stables, one of which is The Hayloft. Stylishly furnished and well equipped it is an ideal base for exploring the lovely countryside and coast of North Yorkshire. Set between Castleton and Pickering the village has a traditional green and good amenities including a shop, tearoom, bar/restaurant and bakery as well as interesting buildings that include the ruins of a Priory, a church, a glass studio and an art gallery.
