It stands in a very picturesque spot above woodland and is comfortable, clean, well equipped and always pleasingly cosy. Many thanks to Landlord Keith. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wayside Cottage for a relaxing, away-from-it-all break. The short distance to open moorland was a big hit with me too.

Very well maintained, cleaned and equipped to a very high standard. We would certainly go back ( As a lot of guests seem to do) and would highly recommend it.What we would mention is the step into the kitchen is higher than normal. If you have mobility issues, it is worth mentioning to Keith as we discovered at the end of the holiday he will happily provide a temporary step to make it easier getting up into the kitchen. Keith the owner is so attentive and more than helpful and is easily available if there is any problems. Wonderful holiday, M&R

We all had a lovely relaxing break. The cottage is very spacious and very clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped. The tea, cake and milk was a lovely touch after a long drive on arrival. The eggs from the neigbour were fresh and tasty ;) we enjoyed having the log burner on in the evening with a glass of wine or 4. We would recommend Wayside Cottage to friends and family.
