About these Holiday Cottages

Our cottages at Keld Head Farm are set around a peaceful courtyard and fountain with adjoining gardens. They are comfortably spacious and retain much of their original rustic character with open beamed ceilings, traditional stone fireplaces and pan tile roofs in keeping with their surroundings. In recognition of the quality of accommodation and the service we offer we've been accredited with the Quality in Tourism Gold Award.

Inside

Each of our nine properties has its own individual style. We can cater for between 2 and 8 people in single or two storey buildings, some which have the living space on the first floor to take advantage of the wonderful views. We've furnished and decorated them to the highest standard co-ordinating fabrics and occasional furniture to provide tasteful room settings.

The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and some have king size or four poster beds. Our kitchens have been fitted in pine and are fully equipped with appliances and utensils, some cottages have dishwashers and laundry facilities.

Outside

All of the properties have access to our large, private gardens with a children's play area and maze, table and chairs. We have a Garden House with large deck area and a BBQ, it's ideal for informal dining for up to 14 people and is available for group parties and celebrations on request.

You may like to celebrate a special occasion by having a gourmet meal expertly prepared for you and personally served in your cottage. Speciality catering can be arranged for birthdays, anniversaries, picnics and barbecues.

Other Things to Note

Bed linen and towels are provided on your arrival and all bills are included in the rental price of our cottages. Cots, high chairs, child safety equipment, baby listening or sitting services are available on request. We hold a M1 Accessibility rating with ETB.

Around and About

Our cottages are within a 15 minute walk of the market town of Pickering. The town offers a wealth of attractions including medieval castles, local pubs, the North York Moor Steam Railway. The popular seaside resorts of Filey and Scarborough are a short drive and the historic city of York is within a half an hour drive - ideal for family or romantic day out.
