A delightful, stone terraced cottage, situated opposite the steam railway and just a few hundred yards from the centre of the bustling market town of Pickering. A period cottage, this wonderful Pickering holiday home has been fully restored to offer stylish and comfortable accommodation throughout, and is well placed for families and friends to enjoy time together exploring the North York Moors National Park and the nearby resorts of Whitby and Scarborough. The cottage features a cosy sitting room with corner sofa and a warming woodburner in a feature fire surround, while a handmade Grandfather clock, a lovely rocking chair and little extra touches link the house back to its original era. Upstairs in this Pickering cottage, the three spacious bedrooms are tastefully furnished, and offer excellent flexibility to suit the whole family. The front bedroom of this Pickering cottage has a feature window which looks directly out across the railway station; a must for steam railway enthusiasts. A short stroll from this Pickering cottage brings you to the centre of this historic town, with a weekly market, a rich array of tea rooms and pubs and some lovely independent shops. Why not visit the interesting Beck Isle Museum or climb the steps up to the castle? For both young and old, a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway is a must, as it winds its way through the stunning scenery of the heather-clad moors to Grosmont and Whitby. With local walks through the woods and trout fishing just opposite, family and friends can get together, relax and enjoy this lovely old market town. A lovely holiday home in a great location, ideal for a family holiday.
