My concerns over parking were short lived as there was plenty available outside or over the road. A couple of rugs would not go amiss in the bedrooms as bare feet on floor boards is not particularly comfortable. The bathroom is lovely with a super shower. My biggest concern is the steps. When exiting the bathroom there is only about three inches of wood on the second and bottom step because of the way they are designed. They need to be extended by at least four inches for safety purposes. (A few near misses in the middle of the night.!) All in all we enjoyed our two week stay but I think we would not return unless the top steps were improved.

Prior to arriving at the cottage we had.not been informed of the change in car park arrangements, the use of CCTV & "items for sale" out side the only entrance/exit to the cottage. We shared our concerns with Sykes. Who really did not want to know, the last message on 27th September they told us we would here back from the owner. This never happened, very disappointed and disgusted with the whole experience.

Coopers Cottage has everything you need for a great stay in North Yorkshire. Matt the owner was very helpful with information about the area and places to go. We found the bed in the front bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable and could do with a memory foam topper. Great stay thank you.
