Set on a 60-acre estate on the outskirts of the North York Moors, this four-person pod is perfect for a back-to-nature family getaway. It’s conveniently located next door to an award-winning farm shop with a cafe, and just 1 mile from both Thornton-le-Dale, a delightfully picturesque village, and the bustling market town of Pickering, each of which have a great choice of shops and places to eat and drink. From Pickering you can also take a nostalgic heritage train ride through the glorious scenery of the moors to Levisham, Newtondale, Goathland, Grosmont and the seaside resort of Whitby – a great day out. The coastal towns of Scarborough and Filey are also within 20.5 miles. Take younger guests to Flamingo Land, 5 miles, and teenagers to Dalby Forest, 4.5 miles, where there’s mountain biking and a Go Ape centre, or to the adventure playground at Castle Howard, 14 miles.

Step through its circular doors into a cosy lounge area with a plush sofa and Smart TV, ready for evenings of film favourites or binge-worthy box sets. Whip up breakfasts, lunches and suppers on the two-burner gas hob or in the microwave; the kitchen also includes a sink, fridge and storage space. When it's time to eat, unfold the table and chairs to share food and conversation while admiring the leafy views. A king-size bed is snuggled in one corner, with bespoke bunk beds tucked away at the back – all with pocket-sprung, Hypnos mattresses for indulgent comfort. There’s ample storage in the form of a tall wardrobe, plus built-in alcoves with plug sockets and USB ports. For refreshing rinses morning or night, the compact wet-room-style shower room is just like a conventional bathroom, with hot and cold running water and a flushing WC.

Step outside to savour the fresh air from your decked outside space, complete with furniture and a charcoal BBQ. A private space for one vehicle is provided in a central parking area, with easy drop-off and collection right by your pod.
