This was our third and definitely not our last time here. Super property, with everything we need and loads of space. Super location within easy striking distance of all the places you will want to go to. We have been in the depths of winter when the house is lovely and cosy with the woodburners and Aga, and also in early summer when we have made good use of the enclosed garden and summerhouse. We go as 2 couples and as this is a 3 bedroom property, the third bedroom is used as a dumping ground for all the suitcases, etc. this works perfectly for us. The owners obviously take good care and pride in this property and it shows. We love it and will be back soon!!

2nd time here and just as good as the first. House is a good size. Big kitchen and dining area. 2 lounges with TV's, so if you are with the kids and they want to play video games, they can disappear and have their own space. Lovely outdoor area, with a summer house and covered seating area. We were lucky with some great weather, so the outside got plenty of use. Big garden area for the kids to kick a ball about, if they can be dragged away from their consoles. Location is great. 5 minutes away from Malton and not far to Pickering and Helmsley. Whitby and Scarborough well within striking distance, with York only half an hour away. House has everything you will need in the kitchen and also has plenty of hot water and a good shower with decent water pressure. The road that the house is situated on is not a main A road, but is also not a little country lane. There is a reasonable amount of traffic in the rush hours, but not disastrously bad. In absolutely no way spoilt our stay, but if you are after total tranquillity, this is not quite the place for you. We have stayed at loads of cottages all over the country, and this place is one of the best for location, price, space and ease of access for things to do. We will be back

A beautiful property that felt like a home away from home! From the warm welcome with a carefully thought through hamper to the gorgeous decor and little touches in each room. The family loved the different animal themes, the games and books provided and seeing rabbits in the adjacent field. There is so much to do in the surrounding area from towns, the city of York, countryside walks and coastal delights. Returning home to Lime Kiln Farm each night was the cherry on the cake.
