The Vale View is set wonderfully on the top of a hill with sweeping views of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. Comfortably furnished, with underfloor heating, electricity and even WiFi, this pod will not disappoint those wanting a break from the rush of everyday life.
This stylish pod is situated in a large meadow, with ample space from its two neighbouring pods, Pheasant Roost and The Beehive.
Step inside to a clever use of space and the fully equipped kitchenette with its double gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and everything you could need to prepare and enjoy meals using the finest Yorkshire produce. A dining area has a small table and seating for two guests along with a sitting area with Freeview television and a sofa which conveniently converts to a bed if required (see Additional Information for details regarding extra guests). A comfy double bed is made up with cotton linen and the en-suite contains a shower, wash basin and WC. Hot water and electricity are provided throughout, along with underfloor heating making it perfect for the chillier months.
Outside the pod, the decking has contemporary rattan furniture, and below is a gravelled area where you can huddle around the firepit, or have a summers evening barbecue.

Additional Information:
Two well behaved dogs welcome for a small additional charge of £10 per dog. Dogs must be kept on a lead.
An extra adult can be added for an additional charge of £20.
An extra child can be added for an additional charge of £10.
Travel cots can be hired at £15 a stay.
Barbecues, charcoal, fire packages, meat feasts, farm produce, food essentials etc can all be purchased on-site

Parking is in the dedicated parking area to the side of the meadow.

Perfect location for a secluded relaxing weekend, pods were extremely comfortable and homely with all the amenities and more. Paula and her daughter were very very welcoming and accommodating. Not a single thing to fault and we will definitely return at a later date.

There isn't always a view in late December. Long nights and low clouds sometimes get in the way. But when the cloud lifts it's stunning. It's an ideal spot for wildlife watching. The Wolds Way runs across the doorstep. And when you get home from visiting coast or countryside it's warm and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend

Vale view is the 2nd Pod I have stayed in over the last 4 years and this one was the best of the 2, fantastic view from the decking of the pod where you can see literally for miles. Loved the outside furniture, quality chairs and long bench with a nice table and Fire pit supplied. It is a must for star gazers who don't like light pollution, a real treat at night as you sit in front of a roaring fire pit. The pod itself is roomy enough for 2 people, I came here on my own with our dog for 3 nights for a break as my wife was away with her sister in York at the same time, pleased I picked this place and I look forward to bringing my partner here in 2022. Adequate cooking facilities with 2 hobs and a microwave. The shower unit was excellent with a powerful power shower and the bed was very comfortable. If you want to get off the beaten track then I highly recommend this place for peace and quiet.Finally, I must mention the host Paula, really helpful throughout and un-intrusive
