At the heart of the home is the bright, open-plan living and kitchen space, complete with a fully equipped kitchen with a Range cooker, breakfast bar and modern appliances. The cosy living room invites you to relax in front of the large Smart TV while the adjoining dining room opens through bi-fold doors onto a private patio with outdoor seating – ideal for leisurely breakfasts or evening drinks al fresco.
Upstairs are three generous bedrooms, each tastefully furnished and featuring deep mattresses with crisp linens promising a good night’s sleep. Two bedrooms enjoy ensuite facilities, while a separate family bathroom features both a bath and a separate shower cubicle – perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. One of the superking beds can be converted to two singles on request, for flexible sleeping arrangements.
Step outside and Richmond’s charm surrounds you. Explore the magnificent Richmond Castle, wander alongside the River Swale to the atmospheric Easby Abbey ruins, or enjoy a scenic stroll to the famous Richmond Falls. Independent shops, welcoming cafes and great restaurants are all just a short, flat walk away - a rare treat in this famously hilly town! You will find a great selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes, many of which are dog-friendly.
Richmond is a haven for walkers and ramblers. Situated on the route of Wainwright’s famous Coast to Coast walk, there are a multitude of established footpaths to enjoy, many of which start right from your doorstep. From easy strolls to lengthy hikes there is something for everyone.
A little further afield, discover the timeless beauty of Swaledale and Wensleydale, known for rolling hills, stone-built villages and cosy country pubs. The towns and villages of Barnard Castle, Leyburn, Bedale, Reeth and Hawes are all within easy reach. Lovely cottage beautiful decor and lovely furnishings. Every central to Richmond town. We had are family from Richmond to visit and the kitchen was well equipped to make a lovely meal. Ideal for a family get together.

This is an outstanding property literally a stones throw from the town square in beautiful Richmond. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photographs and is absolutely beautifully furnished and decorated inside. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with quality kitchenware, the dining room made meal times a lovely experience. Bedrooms and bathrooms are again beautifully furnished and decorated, comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Probably the nicest holiday rental we’ve stayed in and would have no hesitation in recommending.
