The main cottage also has a stylish shower room and a refreshing bathroom alongside two spacious bedrooms: one cheery king-size room and a lovely super-king-size room. Outside, there’s a pretty enclosed garden with outdoor furniture offering a relaxing spot for a morning coffee. An additional decked area has further seating and the wood-fired hot tub, perfect for relaxing in and taking in the far-reaching views. To the side of the hot tub you will find the cheerful snug which has ample seating, a Smart TV and a useful kitchenette.

The friendly village of Barton (1.5 miles) has a welcoming pub and lies within easy reach of the bustling town of Darlington (6.5 miles). To the south-west, the historic town of Richmond (8.5 miles) is home to Richmond Castle, Richmond Falls and Easby Abbey (8.5 miles). Other local attractions include Kiplin Hall, Barford Raceway, Thornton Hall Gardens, the Bowes Museum and Raby Castle, Deer Park and the Plotters’ Forest, all within 15 miles.
