The pretty, ever-popular village of Reeth rests at the northern tip of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where Arkengarthdale and Swaledale meet, nestled between Calver Hill, Fremington Edge and Harkerside. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with lovely rolling hills and spectacular views, Reeth boasts a colourful history as it was originally a Saxon settlement, and has also been known as a lead mining town and a centre for hand knitting throughout its time. Lovely three bed cottage with excellent kitchen and lounge area. Very comfortable and well furnished. A table lamp or two in the living room would be welcome to avoid the glare of the overhead lights. We would definitely visit again.

Perfectly positioned to make use of local facilities, pubs, shops etc and importantly to explore the North Dales. We very much hope to return and the fresh milk and biscuits were a welcome and appreciated welcoming touch. Our thanks.

It alternated between very hot or very cold. Nice and cosy after a day's walking and so handy for the pubs in Reeth.
