Went for Christmas with my mum and small dog. Location good, garden size brilliant for a dog and bed very comfortable. Unfortunately this was all outweighed by the broken things in the house. I read a review whilst i was there dated over 2 months ago where the induction hob had duct tape on it as it had smashed but not been repaired! Still in the same state. Both toilet seats needs attention, lid cracked on upstairs anddownstairs needs reattaching as loose and you slip to one side. Upstairs Bathroom door handle comes off in your hand We had to move the sofa as a dice was lost under there and i wish i never. 3 parts of a dog bone, one biscuit and copious amounts of dust balls. Christmas tree lights didn’t work either. If only they repaired thing and looked after the property better they could charge more money to stay. We would not return

Lovely cosy lounge, not impressed with kitchen as we love cooking even though we are away as usually we go out all day with dog and then home chill and cook.Poor cooking equipment not everything you need and very small space,Got to watch head if tall in downstairs toilet but that lacks a sink as not hygienic to go into kitchen to wash hands.bedrooms comfy but would like set draws to put things in,Bathroom nice but again if tall you have to watch your head, bath lovely.Garden nice bet it be lovely in summer,It's not somewhere we go back to but I wouldn't say don't go it depends on what you want and what your used too.

Location is good. The Angel Inn close by serves good food and drinks. Sadly the cottage needs some attention. The hob is broken and covered with duct tape. There is a coffee machine, but does not work. There are comments in the guest book saying the same. Downstairs toilet seat is loose, back door dusty and dirty, many cobwebs around most of the cottage. Upstairs toilet seat has a large crack in, and the shower has many stains in the tray and sides. Its a shame it was let down this way, and Im sure these problems can be addresed to bring it back to a good standard.
