Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it clean and comfortable. There is a minor note regarding cobwebs on the decking, but this does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

The location is highly praised for its quietness and easy access to local attractions and shops. It is deemed ideal for exploring North Yorkshire, although one review notes limited accessibility for those without transport.

Comfort is consistently highlighted, with the lodge described as a home from home, and the beds particularly commended. There is a single mention of a dressing table area being 'worse for wear', but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub, although there are comments about the hot tub's temperature and minor maintenance issues like non-working bulbs. The fully enclosed verandah is appreciated for its utility.

While guests have expressed appreciation for the welcome pack, as it is not consistently mentioned across all reviews, it cannot be guaranteed for future guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, but the gesture when received is valued.

Ideal for a quiet break. Would love to go back again.

Hot tub was cold on arrival so first night we couldn't use it. Its also not very private with viewings going on above looking down. The extractor hood didn't work. I did notice there were a lot of cobwebs in the property which was mentioned on another review. The area has nothing. You can't safely walk to a pub. So of you want absolutely nothing then its good. We got a little bored. Beds comfy. WiFi good. Hottub nice once hot. Just dropped 2 stars for the location and cobwebs.
